WILDCATS COME ROARING!!

Sport South East are delighted to announce that there is a bigger, badder animal arriving for the 8-11 age group. The Wildcats Multi Skills for Sport Clubs, devised by Coleraine and Ballymoney Borough Councils have been successfully operating in the North East for 5 years. Sport South East are introducing the Wildcats by implementing 5 Clubs in the area from this October after recognising there was a gap in the provision of activities for 8-11 year olds. The format will be a 3 year journey of learning sports skills in a fun, safe and challenging environment for children who join the Club at 8 and graduate at 11. It has also been announced that Sport NI through its Activ8 Campaign will endorse and support all the Wildcats Clubs throughout the country and this will be promoted via a national advertising campaign managed by Fire IMC

DIFFERENT NAME...SAME CLUB!

After 3 years, the SE Seals have had a bit of a makeover and have become the SE Wildcubs. The Partnership took the decision to rebrand the Seals to Wildcubs to be the Club for the 5-7 age group with the advent of the Wildcats. We would like to assure all those that have attended the Seals Clubs in the past that the only thing that has changed is the name.

From the week commencing Monday 5th October 2009, Wildcubs and Wildcats Clubs will begin again in the Castereagh, North Down, Lisburn and Ards Council areas. If you would like to register for any of the Clubs you can contact your local sports development officer. Details can be found in the Our People section of this website.
