Sharing Information

Good communication makes for good practice. If your organisation/club puts in place good systems and provides opportunities for sharing information with children, parents, staff/volunteers, everyone will feel that their input is valued and that their ideas and concerns will be listened to. An ethos of partnership between parents, staff and volunteers will engender mutual trust.

It is important that general written information on policy and procedures is circulated to everyone connected with your club in a way that is understandable to all, for instance through an information session or by sending out information leaflets or news sheets. This may include guidance on confidentiality, record keeping or complaints/grievances

Club’s must obtain a Parental Consent Form or contact your NGB for sport specific form.
